Lots of exciting opportunities!
Advanced Skills Practitioner
It has been exciting to receive interest for the latest initiative being launched across the Trust.
The role of the Advanced Skills Practitioner:
This role is designed to offer support for schools within and beyond the Trust.
All staff have received key information about this opportunity with a deadline for applications on Monday 14th October.
We are looking forward to hearing from colleagues with a range of skills that can be recruited to the development programme that starts next half term.
The initiate has been a co produced piece of work between members of the Executive and School Leaders.
We are also working with wider stakeholders to support us with this fantastic professional development opportunity.
Finance
We will be launching a suite of training programmes designed to support Aspiring Leaders in their understanding of financial management.
Our CFO Nigel Woodworth and Pierre Coiffait, Executive Advisor, will be facilitating these valuable sessions.
Session 1: Understanding School Financial Management
Session 2: Budget Planning
Session 3: Monitoring and Evaluating Budget Performance
Session 4: Accountability and Financial Compliance

Aspiring Leaders
We are delighted to be working with Gill Robinson OBE and Moira Thompson NLE to run a 12 month Aspiring Leaders programme.
Staff will embark on an exciting 12-month journey designed to support their leadership journey through a range of activities that will encourage deep reflection as well as support whole school development.
A model of reflective, evidenced informed practice will be encouraged.
Delegates will combine interactive learning opportunities through a rich offer of school-based face to face sessions, and peer to peer support.
Programme outcomes:
- Personal growth – to actively pursue opportunities to enhance your leadership abilities through training, mentorship, and self-reflection.
- Embrace responsibility – to show initiative and be eager to take on more responsibility within your current role.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities - strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration.
- Focus on impact – driven to make a positive difference in your teams, schools, or communities by influencing and motivating others.
- Commit to continuous learning – open to feedback and learning from both successes and failures to grow into effective leaders.

Well done to staff at Spring Brook Academy who have recently completed their ELSA accreditation and are now undertaking their supervision session.
